Christmas

As the Christmas holidays are fast approaching we have been busy with festive crafts and art. 

Primary 7 and Miss Scott hope everyone has a lovely Christmas break and we will see you all in 2016! 

Christmas Fete

Primary 7 were busy little elves today making lovely gifts to sell at the Christmas Fete. Come along and join in the fun on Friday from 1.30pm, do some Christmas Shopping and stop off for a mince pie. 

Ladies Night

Reminder that this Friday (27th) is Ladies Night at the Beechwood Community Centre. Come along from 7pm for a chance to do some Christmas shopping, be pampered or just have a good old chat with the girls. Tickets are available from the school office £4 

Heart Start

Primary 7 took part in a very informative and hands on workshop run by Heart Start. Pupils learnt how to react in emergency situations and administer first aid. Thanks to their instructors Linda and Gordon for delivering a very important and potentially life saving workshop. 

Poppy Art

Remembrance Day

Primary 7 have been working very hard learning about the fantastic work the Royal British Legion Club do for the Poppy Appeal. We were fortunate enough to have some of its members join us for our service on Friday. Pupils were able to ask them questions and hear first hand about their work. We also had the pleasure of welcoming some WW2 veterans to the service from Erskine Hopsital. The service was a great success due to the hard work by the pupils and their enthusiasm to learn about such an important topic. 

Divided City

Divided City

Primary 7 in Mossvale and St James's have been working extremely hard on their production of Divided City. It is an adaption of the novel by Theresa Breslin which centres around two boys from opposing football teams who must find their own answers and their own way forward in a world divided by differences.

Our school production will be on Friday 23rd October 2015 at 1.45pm and 6.30pm in the school hall. Tickets can be booked from the office-2 tickets per child.
